11:04am:
The family cat, Oscar starts to jump fences and run around, in a peculiar fashion. This is
apparently one of many strange occurances as the animals and plants think the day is coming to an abrupt end.

11:06am:
The sky suddenly drops, as if someone had hold of a dimmer switch and turned it down a notch. It was very noticeable, in stages... you would blink, open your eyes and the sky would be a different colour. It was then that things *really* started getting dark!

11:08am:
at this stage, various 'dusk' animals started to make their noises and the swifts started to fly around. In the distance, a lighthouse started flashing, and local streetlights came on.

11:11am:
Totality. Deadly silence, aside from the family going "Wow!" "Gosh!" "Oh My God!" etc. Some people have reported at this stage, getting an terrible feeling of doom, and longing for the light to reappear. The totality in the area the camera was in, lasted for just over 2 minutes, but felt like 2 seconds.
The sky was not pitch black, mainly because of the layer of cloud, dispersing light from out of the moon's shadow across the horizon.

11:14am:
Eclipse over. A strange light - rather like dawn, but rather uniquely not at all like dawn. One could feel the light flood back in again, very quickly... and then the terrible feeling of doom came about me, that that was indeed the last full eclipse I'll probably ever see.
