Big thanks to Areti Internet, without whom, this would have been impossible.

The Total Eclipse of the Sun was visible on 11th August 1999, at around 11:11am BST. Cloudy skies hindered the occasion somewhat, but I, amongst 1 million other people gathered in the county of Cornwall, UK managed to experience "Totality."
Live pictures of this event were broadcast on this site, in 20 second bursts, but unfortunately, due to overwhelming stress on the server, we had to be stopped from broadcasting before the eclipse actually happened.
The event was videotaped, shortly after a large rain storm, very nearly blowing up a couple of thousand pounds of equipment, and therefore isn't particularly spectactular. As well as having my attentions elsewhere (standing around going "Wow... this is amazing!"), I moved the camera a bit... but on the left is a small animated gif of the two minute totality, sped up by a factor of 6!
A quick picture-book of the eclipse as seen by me
Real Video of the eclipse - coming soon.
Where exactly was the CAM in relation to the solar eclipse?
How did I do this?
